10-Weeks Yin Yoga - Basic Qigong & Swimming Dragon Practice

10 Sessions (30 Jan; 6, 13, 20, 27 Feb; 6, 13, 20, 27 Mar; 3 Apr)

This is a weekly Basic Qigong class which includes the learning of Swimming Dragon Qigong. Qigong is known for its powerful breathing and energy circulation. Students will learn basic loosening exercises and grounding of energy to allow high levels of energy circulation. Basic Qigong releases tension in the body and it works on the urinary bladder and lung meridians to allow Qi to enter and exit the body efficiently and brings Qi to the core of the body to nourish the organs. Swimming Dragon is an ancient practice that releases tension of the side waist, neck and shoulders. It targets the gall bladder channel and is highly effective for increasing mobility and stress release. Qigong overall helps to calm and brings grounding to the body. It will help anyone who likes to improve breathing, flexibility, energy circulation and learn meditation.
